Bellevue events ring in holiday season

Special events kick off the month of December in Bellevue. Here’s a quick run down of this weekend’s events.

Friday, December 2

Shop Bellevue poster for December 2 shopping eventBellevue businesses present “Your Holidays are IN VUE,” the holiday edition of the popular first Friday shopping experience along Fairfield Avenue. Businesses will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. and promise a wide variety of gift ideas and good cheer.

The annual Community Carol Sing and Nativity Dedication at St. John United Church of Christ, 520 Fairfield Avenue, will begin at 8 p.m. Friday and will feature music by St. John musicians and guest vocalists.

All the shopping can make you hungry. The Packhouse Meats food truck will be on hand Friday at Darkness Brewing, 224 Fairfield Avenue. Packhouse is known for its meatballs.

Saturday, December 3

Frame and Hang Studio Gallery will host its annual holiday open house from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. The gallery is located at 401 Fairfield Avenue.
