A Look at the Loo – The Fire Department’s new Bathroom

By Jennifer Sierra

The Bellevue Dayton fire department finally has a new bathroom and locker room for the firefighters. While it is gender neutral, the females that work at the station still prefer to use the older bathroom in the basement. The gentlemen, however, have a clean, bright new changing area with 2 new showers, 2 new sinks, 2 toilets and one urinal. The crew is excited to have the additional facilities that allow several of the men to shower, shave and use the bathroom at the same time. They are hopeful that next year funding will be available for them to improve the basement facilities for the ladies.
