November Employee of the Month

We are proud to honor Mrs. Amanda Berringer as the November Inspire, Engage, and Grow Employee of the Month for the Dayton Independent School district. Mrs. Berringer is an amazingly dedicated teacher who has taught 13 years in the Dayton Independent School District. In the classroom, Amanda works diligently to create unique and engaging lessons for her students using her creativity and resourcefulness. Regardless of the grade level team Amanda has worked on (and there have been many over the years) her colleagues have always looked to her for guidance and support in all facets of their work. More importantly, Mrs. Berringer is ALWAYS willing to help her students and colleagues whenever needed.

To quote one nomination, “Amanda is a great teacher. She goes above and beyond to meet the needs of all students in a collaborative setting and one on one.” Another nomination stated, “Amanda Berringer is an excellent teacher. She collaborates with her grade level teams to ensure all students’ needs are met. Amanda also does a phenomenal job with the drama club. The drama club includes numerous kids of all ages and grades. Amanda Berringer is an excellent educator.”

Mrs. Berringer also offers continued support to many additional programs and clubs in our school district, is currently serving as an SBDM member, and is leading the efforts in holding our first annual community-wide talent show.
