The Pilot House

by Jennifer Sierra

The Pilot House by Jim Cutter of Cutter Construction has a deceiving front elevation. This home is a three-story home reminiscent of row houses.

Enter the home and the first floor eat in kitchen and great room are warm and inviting and open to an outdoor patio area situated next to the banks of the Ohio River. Looking out from the home chef’s station you can enjoy a warm fire, a great cooking show or simply watch the Ohio River roll gently by.

The first floor guestroom with it’s warm spiced colors welcomes visitors into the home. This room can also be used as a home office. Another guest suite is situated on the second floor and takes advantage of the overhead view of our Ohio River. The workout room is featured on the second floor of this home and can be purposed for other uses. Just beyond the home gym is the second guestroom featured on the second floor of the home.

The master bath is well appointed with the standing glass shower complete with shower wand, solid surface countertops adorned with stone art vessel bowl vanities. A private media space connects to the master suite.

The third floor of this home is party central. Complete with a modern wet bar with contemporary appliances. It connects to the homes massive rooftop party space.

Looking through the wet bar you can see the massive party deck overlooking the Ohio River that is situated perfectly to hear the roar of the crowd for our professional sports teams or to view the fireworks. Looking back from the far end of the great room you will notice the appointment of a wet bar or you can enjoy a refreshment.
