Homecoming Weekend in Bellevue and Dayton, Kentucky

This weekend was homecoming for both Bellevue High School and Dayton High School. The parade for Bellevue was Thursday night and the parade for Dayton was Friday night. Unfortunately, Dayton, Kentucky was defeated by St. Bernard 27 to 13 and Holmes won over Bellevue by 41 to 0. Although it was a difficult night, spirits were high for the homecoming courts in both schools.

Ladies court: Allison Blackburn, Haley McElfresh, Kayla Johnson, Lindsey Trimnell

Gentlemen Court: Quing Zheng, Phillip McDaniel, Chris Miller, Andrew Stewart

During Friday night’s festivities, Dayton High School Faculty showed support for their CARE Program which promotes positive behavior within the schools.
“Friday Night Lights” was Dayton’s theme for Homecoming this year and every club and grade level was encouraged to create banners with the theme in mind. They were to be displayed at Davis field. Both students and the boosters club voted on best banner.

The 1996 class reunion was also celebrated on Friday night in Dayton, Kentucky.

The Bellevue Junior girls won the powder puff game Thursday night. The Homecoming Dance was Saturday night at The Madison and the theme for homecoming in Bellevue this year was “Aladdin”.
