Don’t miss the chance to enjoy one of the best weekends we have had all summer in the great outdoors. One of the most walk able communities, Bellevue, Kentucky, has an amazing Saturday of fun in store. Start early with Brunch IN VUE at any one of the fantastic, local, independently-owned restaurants; Avenue Brew, Bellevue Bistro, Elusive Cow (opening at 11:00 AM), Siam Orchid or Twisted Sisters. Then visit the shops along the avenue like the Cozy Cottage – where your kids can make a pet rock. Make your own headbands at Circle of Hope Artisans and Gents. Don’t forget to visit Old Guest House Boutique or Le Sorelle and look for face painting, too!
From noon until 11 PM the bluegrass and roots music festival known as Mayesfest will be at the Thomas J. Wiethorn Memorial Beach Park. There you will find a full bar, craft beer village, incredible food, and fabulous music. Walk down, drive down or ride your bike down because there will be bicycle parking provided. Families are welcome to all events.
