Bellevue Renaissance, Bellevue Kentucky’s Main Street organization tasked with creating a vibrant historic business district along Fairfield Avenue, recognized they’ve experienced their Renaissance and it was time to aspire to the evolving community dynamic and marketplace. It was time for a refresh. The group engaged branding and creative experts BLDG of Covington, Kentucky to assist them. BLDG unveiled the new brand – In Vue – to a group of eager business owners, city leaders, residents and other stakeholders gathered this evening at the Callahan Community Center.
In Vue weaves together the past while embracing the future and colorful character of Bellevue’s plentiful assets and experiences with a fresh new look. The new brand aligns the Main Street organization, businesses, and the community at large; providing a platform to share their story. In Vue’s chairperson Jen Ruschman commented, “The new brand for our Main Street District in Bellevue is very exciting. Business owners, residents, and many people have worked so hard over the last years to bring the Avenue alive. Leaving “Bellevue Renaissance” behind to embrace a new brand lets us focus on the future and acknowledges the major “Renaissance” is past. We are looking toward the future and are excited about Bellevue and the Main Street district continuing to be a leader in the region.”
BLDG offered exactly what the Main Street group recognized, “transformation is inevitable, ordinary is unacceptable.” The new brand is a culmination of months of research, strategy and design by the BLDG team. The new logo reinforces the brand and is a platform for their marketing efforts in this highly competitive and evolving marketplace.
BLDG also consulted with The Dayton, Kentucky Main Street program last winter for their new branding campaign which is still being created. Stay tuned for more from these two river cities and their Main Street developments!
