An ambitious and generous family living in Bellevue, Kentucky are gearing up for a long, hot summer. Tony Miglio and his wife, Betsy Kallendorf Miglio from Dayton, Kentucky, collect money every summer through their campaign Fund-a-Fan. This money is used to purchase box fans which are are delivered, free of charge, to the Brighton Center for distribution to needy citizens in Northern Kentucky Communities. They are asking their community to help those that need help by sending donations to “Fund a Fan”. Checks can be mailed to the Miglio family’s home at 454 Ward Avenue, Bellevue, Kentucky 41073. Make checks payable to “Fund a Fan”.
Tony and Betsy have helped more than 100 families last year and raised more than $1000.00. They have seen a decline in donations over the past few years, with their largest year, raising close to $4000.00. Please help them keep our neighbors cool and comfortable. People living in heat suffer from irritability, fatigue, nausea and headaches. It can affect your blood pressure, cause dehydration and even death. Children and the elderly have an even greater problem with the heat and humidity. As the temperature rises, the crime rate soars too. Incidents of domestic violence increase and our police and ambulances have to make frequent runs to residences. Help do your part by keeping tempers cool too. Your donations could make a difference in someone’s life and the operating cost of our cities’ police and fire departments.
