We are excited to announce that Lincoln Elementary School has reached the goal of being recognized as a Proficient School by the Kentucky Department of Education. Being recognized as a Proficient School means that Lincoln Elementary has cleared the 71st percentile standard for schools and is now on the way to becoming a Distinguished School.
The work over the past few years at Lincoln Elementary has been incredible. In 2010 Lincoln Elementary was ranked 628th out of 706 elementary schools in Kentucky. This placed Lincoln in the 12th percentile of all schools. To GROW from the 12th percentile to the 71st percentile is a great accomplishment.
We want to thank our students, teachers, staff, administrators, parents, and community members for all their hard work in making this happen. It has been remarkable to watch the power of purpose, persistence, and pride work its magic on our Little Devils!!
We know our Little Devils and staff won’t rest now and the BEST is yet to come. This spring we are one step closer to reaching the goal of having all three of our schools being recognized as Proficient Schools, resulting in our district earning the distinction of being a Proficient District.
Here we GROW!!!!!
